What I do for Fisher Pathways:  Imagine Larry King wants a guest for his show but the guest can’t fly to Atlanta to be with him. A producer must book the guest with a studio nearer to the guest. We are one of those studios. You see people from other locations on different shows all the time. Mostly news shows/networks. We mostly get business from CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, ESPN, Fox, Bloomberg, Headline News, Etc. . . We also have video tape playout for stuff previously shot on tape that those same networks need and it is faster to transmit from us to them then to ship it postal. We use Fiber Optic transmission lines primarily but we can send it via Satellite. The parent company is Fisher Communications but you know them as KOMO in Seattle and KATU in Portland.
