Stories by Mitch

There are too many stories floating around my brain. I needed a place to put them. So, here we are. These are serialized stories. I spit out a small piece at a time. Each entry is designed to give details about the characters, plots, and maybe even misdirection.  Eventually, each title will be a whole and, hopefully, coherent story.

Please choose a story title from the list , then begin with entry number one. Some stories have been going on for some time so entry number one might be a ways back.

Action/Adventure/Fantasy

  • Olivier’s Alphabet- A widower mouse and his young son embark on a quest for pirate treasure.
  • Mythik: Lilly’s of The Desert - (Complete Story in Chronological order) Eric Olson is not psychic; he is, well, for lack of a better term, Mythic.  Born of a mythical goddess and a mortal man, he can live in both the worlds of myth and legend and our modern mortal world.  It is his job, as a truant officer, to expel Mythical beings who misbehave, from the 21st century mortal world.  But some myths and legends don’t want to behave nor are they willing to leave peacefully.
  • The Savior – (Horror Western) Bloody remains of Croatan Indians found in a cave cause panic amongst the Roanoke Confederacy.  Hunting parties are decimated by an unknown and sinister creature deep in the woodlands.  Just when all hope is lost, a young survivor of Roanoke Colony, the adopted son of a Croatan maiden, enters the forest with only a knife and courage.  He emerges as a savior but changed in ways that even he doesn’t fully understand.

Comic Book Scripts

  • Concrete Martians - (Completed Script_ Issue #1) October 30th 1938, Orson Wells produces a radio show for Halloween.  The Mercury Theatre Presents, H.G. Wells The War of the Worlds.
    The tiny lumber town of Concrete, Washington, becomes the epicenter of Martian Invasion Hysteria.  (I have included dialogue, script directions, and artists notes, in italics, so you can see what all is involved in a comic book script)  Please see updates about the current production of the graphic novel here.
  • X MEN: Kalgoorlie Gold – (Completed Script_ Issue #1)Kitty Pryde, in her first mission after returning to earth, leads the X-Men on a mission of discovery in the Gold Fields of Western Australia.  A new mutant has been discovered living as a monk on the edge of the Great Victoria Desert.  But is this powerful mutant really new or is he an old enemy hiding, waiting for something more sinister?

Lynn Kwan Mysteries

  • All Skate-(Complete Story) While investigating a fish die off at a tribal fish hatchery in the Pacific Northwest, Rookie FBI Agent Lynn Kwan uncovers a darker secret.  An entire town is harboring a serial child rapist.
  • Beeswax-When a prominent archaeologist is found murdered in Western Montana, Special Agent Lynn Kwan finds more than murder, she unearths an ancient Chinese secret.
  • Coming 2012 - Deadfall-Portland, Oregon in the 1870′s was a dangerous place to be.  Some rather shady characters lurked in the shadows called the “Portland Underground.”  Special Agent Lynn Kwan discovers a new threat waiting under the streets of Portland.
