Stories by Mitch

There are too many stories floating around my brain. I needed a place to put them. So, here we are. These are serialized stories. I spit out a small piece at a time. Each entry is designed to give details about the characters, plots, and maybe even misdirection.  Eventually, each title will be a whole and, hopefully, coherent story.

Synopsis.

  • To be continued Fall 2010 Deadfall -(Gothic Mystery)  MONDAY Portland, Oregon in the 1870′s was a dangerous place to be.  Some rather shady characters lurked in the shadows called the “Portland Underground.”  No one was aware that an even more sinister presence was preying on the unfortunate soul who fell through the trap doors.
  • Mythik: Lilly’s of The Desert - (Fantasy/Adventure) TUESDAY Eric Olson is not psychic; he is, well, for lack of a better term, Mythic.  Born of a mythical goddess and a mortal man, he can live in both the worlds of myth and legend and our modern mortal world.  It is his job, as a truant officer, to expel Mythical beings who misbehave, from the 21st century mortal world.  But some myths and legends don’t want to behave nor are they willing to leave peacefully.
  •  X MEN: Kalgoorlie Gold (Marvel Comic Script) WEDNESDAY Kitty Pryde and The X-Men investigate a confusing appearance of a never before detected mutant in the Gold Fields of Western Australia. (Note: A Marvel type comic book script includes plot outlines only.  I have also included dialogue.) Issue One is complete.
  • To be continued Fall 2010 Olivier’s Alphabet-(Adventure) THURSDAY A divorced woman discovers a family heirloom holds the key to Pirate Treasure.
  • All Skate-(Modern Mystery) FRIDAY While investigating a fish die off at a tribal fish hatchery in the Pacific Northwest, Rookie FBI Agent Lynn Kwan uncovers a darker secret.  An entire town is harboring a serial child rapist.
  • COMING FALL 2010 – Wax Paper -(Modern Mystery) When a prominent archaeologist is found murdered in Western Montana, Special Agent Lynn Kwan finds more than murder, she unearths an ancient Chinese secret.
  • SNEAK PEEK UPDATED 6/14/2010 - Concrete Martians - (Graphic Novel Script) October 30th 1938, Orson Wells produces a radio show for Halloween.  The Mercury Theatre Presents, H.G. Wells The War of the Worlds.
    The tiny lumber town of Concrete, Washington, becomes the epicenter of Martian Invasion Hysteria.  (I have included dialogue, script directions, and artists notes, in italics, so you can see what all is involved in a comic book script)  Please see updates about the current production of the graphic novel here.
